Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established team in Brandon, Mississippi. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers the chance to work within a welcoming community alongside a loyal client base. The practice is known for delivering high-quality medicine, friendly service, and building strong relationships with clients and the local community. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical care to small animal patients across a variety of services. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, nutritional counseling, microchipping, and senior pet care. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality veterinary medicine and exceptional client service. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The practice operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on weekends. The hospital features modern equipment and a well-trained support staff dedicated to helping veterinarians succeed. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, nutritional counseling, microchipping, senior pet care, and boarding. The practice fosters a collaborative culture where veterinarians have the resources and teamwork needed to provide excellent patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Team
The hospital is home to 3 DVMs supported by a tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with team members working together to provide high-quality veterinary care and a positive experience for clients and patients alike.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
