Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their established multi-doctor team. This full-service practice provides care to dogs, cats, horses, pigs, exotics, avian species, reptiles, pocket pets, and even zoo animals, offering a truly diverse caseload. The position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, making it suitable for both experienced doctors and those earlier in their careers.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 3:00pm, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload of medical and surgical cases across multiple species during open hours. Responsibilities include serving patients and clients with a relationship-based approach, collaborating with the clinical team and leadership, building relationships within the local community, mentoring and encouraging support staff through internal training programs, and performing surgeries and appointments. The role offers exposure to both routine and more advanced procedures. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This spacious 7,000 sq ft hospital features seven exam rooms and a separate surgery building. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools including ultrasound, therapy laser, digital radiology, and digital dental radiography, along with a standalone surgical facility. Services include behavioral medicine, dental care, diagnostics and laboratory services, end-of-life care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, pain management, parasite prevention and control, surgery and anesthesia, wellness exams, and wound care. The hospital emphasizes collaborative culture, progressive medicine, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Team
The practice has 5 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment focused on high-quality patient care and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
