Job Description
Introduction
Our client is an animal hospital currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Providing care for cats and dogs, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian looking to join an established general practice.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role offers a varied caseload, carrying out all the duties expected of a GP veterinarian. Responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and client communication. The position is open to experienced veterinarians only.
Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of general practice veterinary services for cats and dogs, while also offering urgent care appointments during normal business hours. The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm, and is closed on Sundays.
Team
The practice currently has a team of two DVMs who are supported by a well-tenured support staff and an experienced Practice Manager.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
