Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities working with dogs, cats, birds, chickens, ducks, and goats.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care across a diverse caseload, including wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine, along with some urgent care cases and occasional livestock treatment. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, performing surgical procedures such as spays and neuters, delivering dental care, and developing individualized treatment plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, providing education on preventative care, and collaborating closely with the veterinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys working with a varied species mix in a collaborative environment.

Practice Details
This is a well-established general practice and urgent care hospital known for providing compassionate, high-quality care within a welcoming, community-focused environment. The hospital manages an average of 12–16 appointments per day and maintains a balanced caseload of wellness, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and occasional livestock cases. The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, and a dental suite to support efficient diagnostics and treatment. Services include preventative care, illness and injury treatment, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter procedures, dermatology, urgent and emergency care, advanced surgery, and laser therapy, along with boarding services. The clinic operates Monday to Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and is closed on weekends. The culture is collaborative, teaching-focused, and centered on strong client relationships and personalized patient care.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, with a 2:1 support staff ratio fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
