Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing general practice and urgent care services for dogs and cats in Boston and is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join the team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and offers a community-focused environment combining comprehensive veterinary care with flexible scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive general practice and urgent care, managing a varied caseload that includes routine wellness appointments, diagnostics, dentistry, and same-day urgent cases. The role involves delivering high-quality care across both routine and unexpected medical concerns within a fast-paced clinical environment. Flexible scheduling options are available, with no on-call or holiday shifts required. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital provides wellness and urgent care within a modern veterinary environment serving Boston’s North End and surrounding neighborhoods. A new veterinary hospital is being built in Boston’s Bulfinch Triangle, between the North and West Ends, and will combine advanced medical technology with a warm and welcoming environment. The hospital is focused on providing both ongoing wellness care and timely treatment when unexpected health concerns arise.

Team
The hospital maintains a 2.5-to-1 staff-to-doctor ratio, with technicians, assistants, and client service representatives working closely alongside the veterinarians. The team operates collaboratively to support strong patient outcomes across both wellness and urgent cases, with an emphasis on respect, teamwork, and an inclusive culture.
