Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal general practice hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides a modern, fear-free environment and delivers a wide range of services including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, and holistic treatments such as acupuncture and chiropractic care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with Sunday closed. The role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Responsibilities include building lasting relationships with clients, leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, and providing clear communication to support informed decision-making. Clinical duties include wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, dermatology, internal medicine, urgent care, and holistic services such as acupuncture and chiropractic care, alongside a focus on nutrition and behavior. The role also involves collaborating closely with the wider team to maintain a positive and supportive hospital culture.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern clinic established in 2022, designed to provide a welcoming and upscale environment while practicing fear-free medicine. It offers a diverse caseload that includes wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, and surgical procedures. The practice emphasizes professional growth through mentorship, continuing education, and hands-on training. The clinic layout is designed for efficient use of space, supporting a high standard of care within a smaller hospital setting.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a highly skilled and experienced technical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
