Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a small animal practice providing care to dogs and cats. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine within a collaborative and supportive team environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a wide range of clinical responsibilities such as wellness exams, preventative care, vaccinations, internal medicine, dentistry, and both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Additional duties include diagnostics, anesthesia, pain management, and managing a variety of routine and more complex medical cases. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available. The role also involves building strong client relationships and working closely with the team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Practice Details
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital with a strong focus on fear-free and hands-free practices to support patient comfort. The practice is equipped with advanced technology including digital radiology, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, OFA X-ray capabilities, and a fully equipped surgical suite. Services offered include advanced dental care, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, preventative care, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, general surgery, internal medicine, hospitalization, pain management, and full diagnostics. The hospital also follows cat-friendly principles to create a low-stress environment for feline patients. Hospital opening hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 am–6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am–1:00 pm, and Sunday closed.

The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on teamwork, mentorship, and professional development.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
