Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a newly remodelled small animal practice hiring for a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative and supportive team environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, providing comprehensive care to companion animals. Clinical duties include wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine as part of a general practice caseload. Specific doctor hours are to be discussed. The practice welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates and prides itself on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and offers a full scope of general practice services. The practice is equipped with Digital X-Ray, an In House Laboratory, Digital Dental X-Ray, and an In Office Surgical Suite, among other resources designed to support high-quality patient care. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. In addition to these services, the hospital also offers climate controlled pet boarding, nutritional counselling, and grooming services.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a tenured, highly skilled technician team trained to leverage the doctors and support efficient workflows. This small, cohesive team works closely together to provide exceptional medicine and client service in a collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
