Introduction
Our client is a practice with a patient-first culture, hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees cats and dogs and is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive and collaborative environment. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian looking to grow their clinical skills while enjoying a balanced lifestyle.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, developing and communicating treatment plans clearly and compassionately to clients, and working collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Doctor working hours are open to discussion. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and a collaborative team environment available to support professional development.
Practice Details
The hospital offers a full range of veterinary services, including wellness care, senior pet care, surgery, dentistry, and in-house diagnostics. The practice operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The facility is modern and well-equipped, featuring radiology and in-house laboratory capabilities to support comprehensive patient care.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a fantastic support staff. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with one doctor having a particular interest in exotics. The practice welcomes veterinarians at different stages of their careers and fosters a culture of teamwork, mentorship, and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
