Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian within a small animal practice. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats, with additional services available for exotic pets, pocket pets, and rabbits, offering a diverse and engaging caseload. The practice is known for its strong community trust and commitment to high-quality, compassionate care, providing an environment where veterinarians are supported in delivering excellent medicine while continuing to grow professionally.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and client education. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with clients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with a supportive team to deliver high-quality patient care. The role also includes exposure to a wide variety of cases, including dermatology, behavior, and care for exotic and small companion species. Doctor hours are not specified. The role is open to veterinarians who are collaborative, communicative, and committed to maintaining high medical standards.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, dermatology, dentistry, euthanasia, microchipping, parasite prevention, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, diagnostics including blood and lab testing, digital radiology, ultrasound, behavior therapy, exotic and pocket pet care, rabbit care, health certificates, pain management, anesthesia, spay and neuter, soft tissue surgery, mass removal, laser surgery, dental surgery, and cystotomy procedures. The practice emphasizes high-quality medicine, access to advanced diagnostics, and a culture of continuous learning supported by internal resources and collaboration.

Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a skilled and collaborative support staff. The environment is team-oriented and mentorship-focused, with a strong emphasis on communication, professional development, and providing support that enables veterinarians to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
