Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs, cats, exotics, avian species, and ruminants and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. The practice offers a collaborative environment with a loyal client base, a strong emphasis on preventative medicine, and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of species.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for companion animals, exotics, avian species, and ruminants. Responsibilities include wellness examinations, vaccinations, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, parasite prevention, senior pet care, urgent care, reproductive services, nutritional counselling, and client education. The role also includes providing in-home appointments and telemedicine consultations where appropriate while working collaboratively with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This well-established, community-focused hospital provides a broad range of veterinary services with an emphasis on preventative care and early disease detection. The practice offers vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, senior pet care, nutritional counselling, exotics medicine, urgent care, laser therapy, reproductive services, in-home appointments, telemedicine, and wellness plans. The hospital serves a loyal client base and provides a welcoming environment where veterinarians are supported in practising high-quality medicine across a diverse caseload that includes dogs, cats, exotics, avian species, and ruminants. Hospital hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
