Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that has been serving Blue Springs and the surrounding Kansas City communities since 1946. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis, working with a varied caseload of cats, dogs and exotics.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide the full scope of general practice responsibilities, with a caseload spanning cats, dogs and exotics. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with doctor hours open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from a state-of-the-art 12,000 sq ft facility and is AAHA Accredited. It is well equipped with advanced technology and resources to provide a broad range of care; ultrasound, echocardiography, video endoscopy, digital radiography, chemotherapy and canine reproduction services. The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, alongside cancer treatment and orthopedics. The hospital is open Monday to Friday 7am-6pm, and Saturday 8am-3:30pm.

Team
The hospital has a team of 15 DVMs and more than 75 team members.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
