Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice welcomes both full-time and part-time applicants and offers the flexibility to work all shifts at one location or split shifts between this hospital and its sister location. The hospital cares for companion animals and exotics, providing an excellent opportunity for veterinarians looking for a varied caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, treatment planning, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider team to deliver high-quality patient care while building strong relationships with clients. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and there are no on-call or after-hours responsibilities. The practice welcomes applications from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, remaining closed on Sundays. It is well equipped to support a varied companion animal and exotics caseload. The practice provides the full scope of general practice services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside acupuncture.

Team
The veterinary team consists of four DVMs supported by a great team of support staff, creating a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
