Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its dedicated team. Serving the local community since 1976, this clinic focuses exclusively on canine and feline patients and is known for providing high-quality, client-centered care in a welcoming and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This role offers excellent work-life balance, with a flexible full-time or part-time schedule available. The standard workweek spans Monday to Friday, with no weekend requirements. Clinic hours are Monday to Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering medical, surgical, and preventive care to small animal patients. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, vaccinations, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics. The role is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The clinic is equipped with a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, and a surgical laser. Services offered include preventive healthcare, dentistry, radiology, laser-assisted surgical procedures, individualized parasite control, microchipping, emergency care, dietary counseling, and an on-site pharmacy. The practice maintains a strong reputation for personalized, community-focused care and upholds a culture of support, trust, and quality.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
