Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their established, community-focused small animal practice. This companion animal hospital provides comprehensive, personalized care to pets at every stage of life and is looking to welcome either a new graduate or an experienced veterinarian who values quality medicine and strong client relationships. The practice serves dogs and cats and has built a trusted reputation within the local community since opening in 2008.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Wednesday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. The clinic is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position ideally working 3–4 days per week, offering a balanced schedule within the hospital’s operating hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide compassionate, client-centered small animal medicine with a focus on preventive care, diagnostics, and surgery. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutritional counseling, sick pet care, spay and neuter procedures, mass removals including minor orthopedic surgery, dentistry including cleaning, extractions and minor oral surgery, pain management, behavioral medicine, senior pet care, and end-of-life services. The role also involves utilizing in-house and laboratory diagnostics, including blood panels, urinalysis, and X-rays, to support accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans. Both new graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome, with mentorship and supportive leadership available to foster professional growth.

Practice Details
This well-equipped hospital offers comprehensive preventive, medical, surgical, dental, and diagnostic services. The facility utilizes advanced diagnostic tools and state-of-the-art surgical equipment to support safe and effective treatments. Diagnostic and imaging services include in-house and laboratory-based bloodwork, urinalysis, and X-rays through a partnership with a reference laboratory. Services also include microchipping, kitten and puppy care, parasite prevention, behavioral medicine, senior pet care, pain management, and an online pharmacy for client convenience. The practice emphasizes personalized care, strong communication, and maintaining lasting relationships with pet families in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Team
The team includes two DVMs supported by an experienced and dedicated staff committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
