Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for Associate Veterinarians, with opportunities available for both full-time and part-time roles. This well-established clinic in Berwyn, Illinois, provides care for companion animals and offers a modern, renovated facility with advanced capabilities. The hospital is not privately owned.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The schedule is flexible, allowing for tailored work arrangements to promote work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will handle a variety of cases, ranging from routine wellness visits to urgent care. Responsibilities include diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and client education. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. A structured six-month mentorship program is in place to support veterinary students and recent graduates in developing their clinical skills and confidence.
Practice Details
The hospital features nine exam rooms, a dedicated dental suite, two large surgery suites, and a modern treatment area. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support a wide range of veterinary services. Team
The team includes three DVMs and a group of skilled technicians in a collaborative, mentoring-focused environment. The workplace culture is supportive and geared toward continuous learning, teamwork, and delivering high-quality care to both patients and clients.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
