Introduction
Our client is a small animal general practice hiring an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join a close-knit, community-focused clinic known for its high standard of care and long-standing team. This is a well-established hospital that values collaboration, compassion, and practicing veterinary medicine as a true team effort while building lasting relationships with clients.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a balanced small animal caseload that includes wellness and preventive care, sick visits, and surgical cases. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing routine surgical and dental procedures, utilizing in-house diagnostics, and communicating clearly with clients to support informed decision-making. This role is designed for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys a varied caseload and thrives in a collaborative, supportive practice environment.

Practice Details
This is a small but well-equipped general practice offering comprehensive veterinary services. The hospital features digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and a fully equipped dental and surgical suite. Services provided include wellness exams, vaccinations, in-house diagnostics and imaging, dental care, travel certificates, laser therapy, ECG, pharmacy services, preventive care, and medical grooming. The practice culture emphasizes teamwork, high-quality medicine, and long-term client relationships within a positive and supportive setting.

Team
The hospital is currently supported by one DVM and a great support team, maintaining a strong doctor-to-support staff ratio. The environment is collaborative and patient-focused, allowing veterinarians to practice efficiently while being fully supported by experienced team members.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
