Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small but mighty 2-doctor practice, recognized for their high standard of care, long-standing team, and the trust they’ve built within their community. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, seeing dogs and cats. This practice prides itself on collaboration, compassion, and practicing veterinary medicine as a true team effort.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The practice is closed on Sundays. The ideal schedule for this full-time position would be four weekdays with rotating Saturdays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion. This position is available on a full-time basis, with some flexibility open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full general practice role, with responsibilities including wellness and sick visits, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine. Duties include leading and mentoring the veterinary team while upholding medical standards, developing and implementing medical protocols, performing routine and advanced surgeries, interpreting lab results to support accurate diagnoses, and educating clients to build strong, lasting relationships. The role offers exposure to a diverse caseload and opportunities to explore your own clinical interests. The position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The practice offers a wide range of services including pain-free, Fear Free care, pet wellness and sick visits, dental care, laser surgery, in-house lab services, in-house pharmacy, grooming, preventative care, LiteCure therapy laser, radiology, and more.

Team
This is a 2-doctor practice, supported by a long-standing team of support staff. The environment is collaborative, mentoring-focused, and team-oriented.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
