Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, working with dogs and cats on a full-time or part-time basis. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in an AAHA-accredited environment supported by advanced technology, mentorship, and a collaborative team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care across a mix of wellness and sick cases, including diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient exams, developing treatment plans, performing procedures, and delivering clear client communication and education. The role emphasizes collaboration with the wider team and maintaining high standards of patient care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available.
Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited facility equipped with advanced technology including digital radiology, dental X-rays, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, chemotherapy capabilities, and cold laser therapy. Services offered include preventive care, diagnostics, general surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, radiology, anesthesia, hospitalization, and pain management. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The culture is collaborative, mentorship-focused, and designed to support professional growth.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, including RVTs and veterinary assistants, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
