Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a state-of-the-art small animal practice providing comprehensive care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets, seeking a compassionate veterinarian to join a progressive and collaborative team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is closed on weekends. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering a wide range of clinical services including wellness care, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, urgent care, and rehabilitation. You will work closely with clients to provide high-quality, compassionate care while supporting a collaborative team environment. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available. The ideal candidate will be confident in soft tissue surgery, have dental experience, and be open to developing skills across different areas of veterinary medicine while contributing positively to team morale and hospital culture.

Practice Details
This is a state-of-the-art, full-service hospital offering progressive and comprehensive veterinary care. The practice is equipped with advanced technology including ultrasound, digital radiography, dental X-ray, an underwater treadmill, and a complete in-house laboratory. Services include wellness care, vaccinations, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, urgent care, rehabilitation, acupuncture, laser therapy, diagnostics, boarding, and daycare, as well as care for exotic animals. The hospital promotes a positive, family-like culture with a strong focus on teamwork, collaboration, and delivering compassionate care.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
