Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing high-quality small animal general practice services and is currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a well-established clinic that focuses exclusively on companion animals.
Working Hours / Rota
The role is offered on a full-time basis. The clinic is open Mon-Fri: 8:30am-5pm. Sat: 8am-12pm. It is closed on Sunday.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for examining animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions, treating and dressing wounds, performing surgery, testing for and vaccinating against diseases, operating medical equipment such as x-ray machines, prescribing medication, and advising owners on care and treatment plans. The veterinarian will also work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians, with opportunities for professional development in areas like surgery and dentistry.

The hospital operates in a modern facility outfitted with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and a fully equipped surgical suite. Services provided include small animal general practice care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
