A busy, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its established six-doctor team. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a fast-paced, well-supported environment equipped with advanced technology and backed by a highly experienced technical team. Working Hours / Rota
Flexible full-time and part-time options are available. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Scheduling is designed to support balance while ensuring comprehensive patient care within a multi-doctor setting.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care for canine and feline patients, managing a varied caseload that includes wellness visits, diagnostics, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. The hospital has a strong emphasis on dental procedures and surgical services, allowing doctors to refine and expand their clinical skills. You will collaborate closely with fellow veterinarians and a seasoned technical team to deliver consistent, thoughtful patient care. Clear client communication, preventive medicine education, and adherence to high medical standards are central to the role. A commitment to practicing ethical, evidence-based medicine and contributing positively to a team-oriented culture is essential.
Practice Details
This is a modern, well-equipped facility featuring laparoscopy, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, digital and dental radiography, cautery, and endoscopy. The hospital follows hands-free radiology safety standards and maintains both AAHA accreditation and Fear-Free and Cat Friendly certifications, reflecting a strong commitment to patient safety and comfort. The caseload offers a healthy balance of preventive care and sick visits, supported by loyal and engaged clients who value quality veterinary service.

You will join a team of six veterinarians supported by a highly skilled and experienced technical staff. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
