Introduction
Our client is a specialized veterinary practice focused exclusively on preventive dental care for companion animals, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team treating cats and dogs in a calm, appointment-only environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, the Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality dental-focused care, including performing examinations, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and carrying out dental procedures under general anesthesia. Responsibilities include conducting oral surveys, dental charting, full-mouth dental x-rays, tartar removal above and below the gum line, polishing, and applying fluoride treatments, as well as prescribing medications and providing pain management where required. The role also involves clear client communication, educating pet owners on preventive care and home dental routines, and collaborating closely with veterinary technicians and support staff. You will work under the guidance of a Medical Director while maintaining clinical autonomy, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This is a dental-focused veterinary practice offering preventive dentistry services only, with no general medicine or emergency cases. The hospital operates on an appointment-only model, creating a structured and efficient workflow in a calm and organized environment. The facility is newly renovated and purpose-built for dental procedures, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to support high-quality care. Services are centered around comprehensive dental treatment, including examinations, anesthesia with monitoring, dental radiography, cleaning, polishing, fluoride treatments, and ongoing care planning. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on weekends. The practice consists of 4 DVMs and offers a tight-knit, supportive team environment that values collaboration, communication, and long-term staff satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
