Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The hospital treats a varied caseload including dogs, cats, reptiles, and small mammals and has an established presence within its community, with a focus on providing ongoing, high-quality patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide care across preventative medicine, wellness, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and pain management. Surgical services include general, routine, soft tissue, orthopedic, and laser surgery. The role also encompasses advanced dental care, periodontics, geriatric medicine, urology, hospice care, and end-of-life support. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome, with students and new graduates receiving dedicated mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The hospital features digital radiology, digital dental radiology, hands-free radiology technology, companion laser therapy, Tonopen, a comprehensive in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, surgical suite, and isolation ward. Services include preventative and wellness care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, diagnostics, dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology, diabetes management, allergy and skin care, nutritional counseling, anesthesia, pain management, surgery, hospice care, and euthanasia services.

Team
The hospital has three DVMs working within a collaborative environment that values teamwork and continued learning. Dedicated mentorship is available for students and new graduates to support their clinical development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
