Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Primarily providing care for cats and dogs, with some exotic cases, the hospital has been serving its community for over 30 years. The practice prides itself on collaboration, curiosity, and a genuine passion for lifelong learning.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide a high standard of patient care, develop treatment plans tailored to individual patients, and build and maintain strong client relationships. You will work collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to deliver high-quality care. The hospital places a strong emphasis on work-life balance and is open to discussing individual scheduling preferences. The typical full-time schedule is just 3.5 days per week, while part-time opportunities are available for those looking to work under 30 hours per week. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available for those at the beginning of their careers.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, and is closed on Sundays. Services include wellness and preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, acupuncture, chiropractic care, NAET therapy, laser therapy, and Platelet Rich Plasma. The hospital is well equipped and fully staffed, allowing veterinarians to focus on their clinical work. Equipment includes X-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, arthroscopy, and eye pressure testing.
Team
You will join a four-doctor team alongside a fantastic group of support staff who work collaboratively to support the veterinarians. The team places a strong emphasis on communication, mentorship, and continued growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
