Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive companion animal care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality medicine alongside excellent client service in a supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with every other Saturday from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. This role is part-time, with specific doctor hours and after-hours requirements not required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will examine and treat companion animals to diagnose diseases and injuries, operate diagnostic equipment, collect and interpret samples, and advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options. Responsibilities include performing surgery, prescribing medications, providing end-of-life care guidance, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics, policies, and procedures. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This is a full-service veterinary hospital focused on both preventative and therapeutic care, with an emphasis on client education and responsible pet ownership. Services offered include pet allergy testing, bathing, boarding, dentistry, electrocardiography, emergency services, hospitalization, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, laser therapy, microchipping, preventative care, radiology, and surgery. The hospital supports a well-rounded caseload in a professional and compassionate environment.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and stable working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
