Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to work with cats and dogs in a well-supported general practice environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to companion animals. This includes diagnosing and treating a wide variety of cases while delivering high-quality patient care. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the practice welcomes applications from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped and is both AAHA accredited and Fear Free certified. It offers a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside acupuncture, laser therapy, orthopedics, and urgent care services. The practice provides a varied companion animal caseload involving cats and dogs, with hospital hours running Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Team
The hospital is home to a team of four DVMs supported by a great team of support staff, creating a collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
