Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for dogs and cats, managing a varied caseload that includes routine wellness appointments, diagnostics, and medical cases. Responsibilities include client communication, treatment planning, surgery, and collaborating closely with fellow veterinarians and the experienced support team to deliver exceptional patient care. The hospital welcomes veterinarians who enjoy working collaboratively, are committed to practising high-quality medicine, and are passionate about continued learning and professional development.

Practice Details
This recently built, state-of-the-art hospital is equipped with advanced technology to support progressive small animal medicine. Facilities include hands-free digital radiography, laparoscopic surgery equipment, and acupuncture services, allowing the team to provide a broad range of medical and surgical treatments. The practice promotes Fear Free principles whenever possible to reduce stress for patients while delivering exceptional care. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The hospital currently has a team of seven veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and client care professionals who foster a collaborative and welcoming workplace. The culture encourages teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continual learning, creating an environment where veterinarians are well supported in developing their clinical interests while providing outstanding care to patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
