Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join an established small animal practice caring for cats and dogs. Since 1981, the hospital has built a reputation for delivering compassionate veterinary care at an affordable price. As the practice continues to grow, they are looking to welcome another veterinarian who shares their commitment to providing exceptional patient care and building lasting relationships with clients.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and develop treatment plans for a wide variety of medical cases. Responsibilities also include performing routine surgical procedures, diagnosing and managing medical conditions and illnesses, communicating clearly with clients, and collaborating closely with the veterinary team to provide the highest standard of patient care.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. Services include anaesthesia and pain management, surgical procedures including spays, neuters, and soft tissue surgery, as well as wellness and preventative care. The practice is well equipped to provide high-quality veterinary care across a broad range of small animal cases.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a fantastic team of support staff. The practice offers a supportive, community-focused environment where you’ll work alongside experienced doctors and support staff in a collaborative setting that values personalized care, strong client relationships, and work-life balance.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
