Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital with a 4.7-star Google rating, seeking to hire an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic focuses on providing care for cats and dogs and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice duties, including wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, with doctor hours open to discussion. The position is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. It is a well-equipped facility featuring ultrasound, digital x-rays, and in-house labs. The practice is AAHA accredited and recognized as a Cat Friendly practice. Services include a full scope of general practice care as well as acupuncture. The facility prioritizes clinical excellence, with a strong focus on advanced surgical and dental services.

Team
The team consists of three DVMs supported by a great team of support staff. The environment is collaborative and fosters teamwork.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
