Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital located in Bartlett, Tennessee, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established team. Since 1994, the hospital has been committed to delivering comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable veterinary care to the local community.

Working Hours / Rota
This full-time role is structured over a four-day work week. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The practice is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a wide range of clinical duties, including general medicine, wellness care, internal medicine, and advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. The position is best suited for an experienced DVM with strong clinical knowledge and an interest in mentoring and supporting veterinary technicians and assistants. Additional CE funds are available to support professional development in areas such as surgery, dental care, critical care, and ultrasound.

Practice Details
The facility is modern and well-equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound (depending on location), therapeutic laser, in-house lab suites, and an on-site pharmacy. The hospital supports both routine and complex procedures and provides a collaborative environment with a strong clinical infrastructure.

Team
Currently, there is one DVM supported by a dedicated and experienced support team. The practice culture fosters collaboration and emphasizes continual learning and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
