Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeing cats and dogs, and they are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, while remaining closed on Sundays. The Associate Veterinarian will have a rotating 3–4-day workweek with rotating weekends. There is no on-call during the week, with rotating on-call required for weekends from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The role is ideally full-time, but part-time discussions are welcomed.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will handle a mix of wellness, diagnostics, and surgery, seeing 10–15 appointments per day with 30-minute appointment slots, allowing 60 minutes for complicated or second opinion cases. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.
Practice Details
The hospital offers full-service small animal general practice care and is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house labs, and much more!
Team
The team includes 3 DVMs and a fully staffed team of 8 support staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
