Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Banning, California, seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This full-service veterinary hospital provides comprehensive care primarily for small animals, with occasional large animal cases. The position offers flexibility with full-time and part-time shifts available in a modern, high-tech facility dedicated to compassionate, high-quality medicine.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. The schedule offers extended weekday hours and weekend availability to support a variety of shift options.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable managing a diverse caseload and delivering services in wellness care, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, urgent care, and diagnostics. The position includes strong mentorship and training opportunities through collaboration with a secondary surgical center, making it a great environment for clinical development.
Practice Details
The hospital operates from a state-of-the-art 14,000 square foot building featuring 11 private exam rooms and is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools including digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG/EKG, and digital dental X-rays. Services offered range from preventive and wellness care to surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. The practice has earned a strong reputation across Riverside County for its knowledgeable, compassionate approach since 1979.
Team
The team includes 5 DVMs and a collaborative support staff. The work culture emphasizes mentorship, teamwork, and continuous learning, with additional support available through a nearby specialty surgical facility.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
