Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal practice providing care to cats and dogs. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian to deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care within a supportive and collaborative environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing a full range of clinical services including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, performing surgical and dental procedures, and delivering preventative care. The position also includes building strong client relationships and working closely with the team to ensure high standards of patient care. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
Our client is a long-standing small animal hospital with a modern facility designed to support advanced medical care while maintaining a welcoming environment for clients and patients. The practice offers services including preventative care, diagnostic care, surgical services, dental care, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, rehabilitation, and urgent care. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, with weekends closed. The culture emphasizes collaboration, work-life balance, and strong team support, with no on-call or holiday shifts required and a high staff-to-doctor ratio that enables veterinarians to focus on delivering quality care.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong staff-to-doctor ratio and a focus on teamwork and positive patient outcomes.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
