Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Providing care for cats and dogs, the hospital has been serving its community since 1992 and has developed a strong level of trust locally through its commitment to providing exceptional small animal care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide a high standard of patient care, develop treatment plans tailored to individual patients, and build and maintain strong relationships with clients. You will work collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to deliver high-quality care. The hospital is open to discussing individual scheduling preferences to see what can be accommodated. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available for those at the beginning of their careers.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. Services include wellness and preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, internal medicine, pain management, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, endocrinology, acupuncture, laser therapy, and behavior therapy. Diagnostic capabilities include an in-house laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound, and tonometry.

Team
You will join a team of five DVMs alongside a fantastic support team who work collaboratively to support the veterinarians. The hospital offers a close-knit community atmosphere, providing doctors with a supportive environment in which to work alongside the wider veterinary team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
