Introduction
Our client is a well-established veterinary practice in Baltimore, Maryland seeking an Associate Veterinarian experienced in soft tissue surgery and dentistry to join their compassionate and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a small animal veterinarian who enjoys performing surgeries and dental procedures while working in a supportive, Fear Free certified environment with opportunities for leadership growth.

Working Hours / Rota
The practice is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, and Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, with Sundays closed. This role offers a full-time schedule within those hours, with the benefit of working alongside a dedicated and experienced veterinary team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform a wide range of general soft tissue surgeries including spays, neuters, mass removals, and foreign body surgeries, as well as advanced dental care supported by intraoral radiology and trained staff. Daily responsibilities also include delivering preventive care, client education, and high-quality medical treatment in a Fear Free environment. The role provides opportunities for mentorship and leadership development, working alongside veterinarians with special interests in internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and preventive care.

Practice Details
This full-service practice has been serving the community since 1999 and features advanced facilities including five exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, and modern diagnostic and dental equipment to support a heavy surgical caseload. Services include preventive medicine and vaccinations, routine and advanced dental care, soft tissue surgery including laparoscopic techniques, nutritional and behavioral counseling, and diagnostics such as ultrasound and endoscopy. The practice is Fear Free certified, dedicated to reducing anxiety in pets, and emphasizes client education and compassionate, gold-standard veterinary care.

Team
The practice is supported by a team of four veterinarians and skilled support staff, fostering a collaborative and mentoring-focused environment designed to provide both exceptional patient care and professional growth opportunities.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
