Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Nottingham, Maryland, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. For more than 25 years, the hospital has been providing full-service veterinary care to dogs and cats, offering medical, surgical, and dental services. Their philosophy is simple: to honor the trust and confidence clients place in them by upholding the highest standards of veterinary medicine while treating every pet as if they were their own.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30am until 7:00pm, Friday from 8:30am until 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:30am until 1:00pm. It is closed on Sundays. Veterinarians work a mix of weekday shifts with some Saturday coverage on rotation. Full-time and part-time options are available, and the role comes with a strong emphasis on maintaining work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality care through wellness and preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Building rapport with clients, providing thorough physical examinations, communicating treatment plans, and educating pet owners on preventive health care are key aspects of the role. The position also involves maintaining accurate medical records, staying current with advancements in veterinary medicine, and contributing to the development of the support team. Experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply, though the practice is also open to mentoring newer graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a wide range of services including wellness and preventive care, diagnostic testing, surgical procedures, and dentistry. With a focus on minimizing patient stress and providing compassionate care, the practice is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical capabilities. Team
The team currently includes three DVMs working alongside a skilled and compassionate support staff. The environment is collaborative and client-focused, with a strong culture of teamwork and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
