Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join their team working with cats and dogs. This is an opportunity to join a well-established, Fear Free certified practice focused on small animal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry within a compassionate and collaborative environment. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide preventive and wellness care, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and deliver medical care in a Fear Free™ environment. Responsibilities include performing soft tissue surgeries such as mass removals, foreign body surgeries, pyometra procedures, and cystotomies, alongside providing dental care and oral surgery supported by intraoral radiology and experienced staff. The role also involves utilizing advanced diagnostics including ultrasound and endoscopy to support acute and chronic disease cases, collaborating with veterinarians with interests in internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and preventive care, and maintaining high standards of patient care and client communication. This position offers hands-on training opportunities and support for developing advanced surgical and dental skills.

Practice Details
This small animal and exotics practice has served the Baltimore community since 1999 and operates from a modern facility featuring 5 exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, advanced dental equipment, digital imaging, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, an in-house laboratory, and an in-house pharmacy. The hospital emphasizes high-quality, client-centered medicine within a calm and supportive Fear Free™ certified environment. Services offered include preventive wellness care, dental care, diagnostics, emergency care, end-of-life care, health certificates, internal medicine, surgery, behavior counseling, and nutritional counseling. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Team
The practice consists of 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team working within a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture. The environment strongly supports professional growth, clinical development, and teamwork while encouraging veterinarians to expand their medical, surgical, and dental skills.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
