Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established and progressive small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a part-time basis, working two days per week. The hospital provides care to cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a full scope of general practice care, with responsibilities spanning wellness and preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. The position is for two days per week, ideally Wednesdays and Fridays, and is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped and has been AAHA certified since 1955. It provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, alongside rehabilitation services. The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:00am–6:00pm, Wednesday through Friday from 8:00am–5:30pm, and the first and third Saturday of each month from 8:00am–1:00pm. It is closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital has a team of 2 DVMs alongside a great team of support staff. The team includes highly skilled technicians who are utilized to their full potential.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
