Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for cats and dogs in a well-established primary care setting.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Daily duties include diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, performing routine surgical procedures such as spays and neuters, and managing cases from consultation through to treatment and follow-up. The role also involves maintaining detailed medical records, communicating effectively with clients, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure high standards of care. The position offers exposure to a diverse caseload including emergency situations. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Wednesday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is an established AAHA-accredited and feline-friendly hospital set within a 5,000 sq. ft. facility. It is equipped with in-house laboratory capabilities, digital radiology, ultrasound, a full dental suite, surgical suites, and advanced monitoring equipment. Services offered include preventive care, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, weight management, diabetes care, allergy treatment, anesthesia, dental care and dental x-rays, full diagnostics, general and soft tissue surgery, geriatric medicine, hospitalization, internal medicine, pain management, radiology, and routine surgeries including spays and neuters. Additional capabilities include cold laser therapy, cryosurgery, EKG, OFA x-ray, tonopen, video otoscopy, and sevoflurane anesthesia. The hospital is also recognized by the Feline Veterinary Medical Association and as a cat-friendly practice. The environment emphasizes collaboration, continued education, and access to referral support for complex cases, with a strong focus on compassionate, family-oriented care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
