Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital sees cats and dogs and is looking to add a veterinarian who can contribute to the continued delivery of high-quality general practice care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm and is closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the role can be either full-time or part-time, offering flexibility depending on the candidate’s preferences.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities, managing a varied caseload of cats and dogs. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian, with a minimum of one year of experience preferred.

The hospital is well-equipped and offers a full scope of GP services.

Team
The team currently includes one DVM supported by a great team of supportive staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
