Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a Hybrid GP / Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their growing team. This clinic provides care exclusively for cats and dogs and is expanding its services to include urgent care alongside its established general practice.

Working Hours / Rota
The clinic offers flexible scheduling with both 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available on weekdays and weekends, and a variety of shift options are offered to accommodate full-time or part-time availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is designed for veterinarians who are passionate about both general practice and urgent care. Responsibilities span a broad clinical spectrum, from wellness and preventative care to diagnostics, surgery, dental procedures, and managing more urgent medical cases. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital is equipped with the latest veterinary technology to support a wide range of services, including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dental care, and urgent care. The practice culture emphasizes high-quality medicine and client service within a supportive and well-resourced environment.

Team
The current team includes one DVM and a group of highly skilled and experienced support staff. The clinic fosters a collaborative atmosphere with a focus on mentoring and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
