Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing veterinary care to cats and dogs, and they are currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with Sunday closed. Doctor hours are open to discussion. No doctors work on-call or after-hours, and a Saturday morning shift is required just once every 5–6 weeks. Bottom line: A happy staff is an effective staff!
Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service general practice role where the Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care to patients. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital is well equipped and offers full-service general practice veterinary care. The team includes FearFree Certified staff, ensuring a patient-focused and stress-reducing environment.
Team
The hospital currently has four DVMs, with doctor tenures ranging from 3 to 30 years. They are looking to add a new doctor to this diverse team.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
