Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established, AAHA-accredited practice in Aurora, Colorado. Since 2011, this clinic has focused on delivering comprehensive veterinary care while treating every pet as if they were their own. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and on Saturdays from 8:00am to 4:00pm. It is closed on Sundays. This position may be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate’s preference.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of small animal medical services, including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures and urgent care. You will take the lead in patient care from diagnosis to treatment, communicate clearly with clients and collaborate with a supportive medical team. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital maintains AAHA accreditation, ensuring that medical, surgical, diagnostic and patient care protocols consistently meet the highest standards in veterinary medicine. Services offered include preventive wellness, diagnostic testing, advanced care, surgery and urgent care. The practice emphasizes mutual respect, mentorship and ongoing evaluation of clinical protocols, ensuring veterinarians have the tools, support and environment needed to excel.
Team
The practice is staffed by three DVMs and a great support team, creating a cohesive, collaborative environment committed to mentorship, continuous improvement and high-quality patient outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
