A well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Aurora, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced, multi-doctor clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who values high medical standards, collaborative case management, and working within a stable hospital environment that prioritises ongoing education and thoughtful patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with the practice closed on Sundays. Full-time schedules are available, offering consistent daytime hours, limited weekend commitments, and no overnight or on-call responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive small animal care across wellness, preventative medicine, diagnostics, and surgery. The role includes managing routine and complex medical cases, performing soft tissue surgery and dentistry, and collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. You will be encouraged to practise evidence-based medicine with clinical autonomy while maintaining clear, compassionate communication with clients. Ongoing mentorship, internal collaboration, and continued learning are central to the position, making it suitable for both experienced clinicians and those seeking to further develop advanced skills.

The hospital maintains AAHA accreditation, reflecting rigorous standards across patient care, diagnostics, surgical protocols, and hospital operations. The facility is equipped to support advanced case work and offers a broad range of medical services, ensuring a varied and engaging caseload. Strong clinical systems and protocols are in place to support efficiency, patient safety, and excellent medical outcomes.

Team
You will be joining a six-veterinarian team, including access to advanced internal expertise such as a Board-Certified Veterinary Cardiologist. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
