Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in Aurora, Colorado, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This small animal practice, established in 1993, offers comprehensive veterinary care and grooming services to the Aurora community and beyond.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. They are closed on Sundays. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for all typical GP duties and responsibilities, including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and pet grooming. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available to support professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
