Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service GP clinic. They provide veterinary care for cats and dogs and have been serving the Aurora, Centennial and Southeast Denver metro communities since 1981.
Working Hours / Rota
This role can be full-time or part-time. The hospital is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. The position includes four 10-hour shifts. The hospital is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a mixture of wellness and sick-patient care for cats and dogs. Clinical responsibilities include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, internal medicine and use of diagnostics such as digital radiology, in-house laboratory testing and ultrasound. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This long-established GP hospital offers a supportive and collaborative culture and uses fear-free techniques when possible. Equipment includes digital radiology, dental x-rays, in-house laboratory capabilities and ultrasound. Facilities include an in-office surgical suite. Services offered span advanced care, primary care and preventive care, including orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, general surgery, pain management, periodontics, urology, wellness testing, parasite control, vaccinations and more.

The hospital has three DVMs supported by a great tenured support team that fosters a collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
