Introduction
A growing small animal hospital in Aurora, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its expanding, doctor-led team. With one veterinarian currently in place and strong community demand, this is an excellent opportunity to join a modern practice that blends general practice with urgent care, offering a varied caseload and a supportive environment for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates extended hours with GP services Monday to Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm and weekends 9:00am to 7:00pm, with urgent care services focused on Friday evenings and weekends, and the rota structured to provide flexibility while supporting work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a mix of general practice and urgent care services, managing wellness, medical, and surgical cases while also supporting walk-in and urgent presentations, building strong client relationships, and working collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality, personalised care.

This well-equipped hospital offers a wide range of services including general practice, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, and in-house pharmacy, supported by modern equipment such as ultrasound, digital dental radiography, and a surgical laser, within a veterinarian-led model that emphasises autonomy, clinical excellence, and strong earning potential.

You will work alongside an experienced lead veterinarian and a skilled support team, within a collaborative culture that values mentorship, professional growth, and shared learning, while contributing to the continued expansion of the practice.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
