Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital in Augusta, Georgia, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This AAHA-accredited practice has been serving the community since 1957, providing high-quality veterinary care and luxury boarding services for companion animals. They are proud of their long-standing reputation for excellence and compassion.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, with Sundays closed. The role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of services, including wellness and preventative care, dentistry, surgery, and laser therapy. With a well-equipped facility and strong support staff, this role allows for both routine and more complex case management.
Practice Details
The hospital features modern equipment, including dental radiology and laser therapy, as well as a dedicated surgical suite and a boarding facility. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, the practice adheres to the highest standards of veterinary medicine and has developed a reputation for professional, compassionate care throughout the Augusta community.
Team
The current team includes one full-time DVM supported by an experienced and well-trained staff. The practice fosters a collaborative and supportive environment, with the option to integrate licensed technicians if desired, ensuring every doctor has the tools and support to thrive.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
