Job Description

A dedicated veterinary clinic is looking for a skilled HQHVSN Veterinarian to lead spay, neuter, and wellness services for publicly owned pets from income-qualified households and rescue partners. This role is crucial in providing high-quality veterinary care while supporting medical staff and fostering a positive workplace culture.
The HQHVSN Veterinarian will be responsible for maintaining and upholding animal care policies, organizational procedures, and ensuring compliance with local, county, and state veterinary regulations. They will also play a key role in promoting a positive image of the organization through public relations and community engagement. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, and other departments is essential to success in this role.
Providing leadership and support to medical staff, the veterinarian will foster a collaborative and positive work environment while encouraging growth and development opportunities. They will be proficient in preventative medicine, educating clients based on organizational policies, and promoting Fear Free animal handling practices. Expertise in identifying, managing, and preventing infectious diseases is also a critical component of this position.
