Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Auburn, Massachusetts, providing care for dogs and cats. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their busy, well-established practice. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and provides a broad range of primary, preventive, and advanced veterinary care within a supportive environment. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care across primary, preventive, and advanced medicine, with opportunities to manage a varied caseload. Clinical areas include advanced dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, canine and feline diabetes, and diagnostic care. The veterinarian will work alongside the wider hospital team to provide high-quality care to patients and clients. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered for the position.
Practice Details
The full-service hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound. Services encompass a full scope of primary and preventive care alongside advanced dental care, dermatology, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, digital radiology, and canine and feline diabetes care. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.
Team
The hospital has three DVMs and a great tenured support team. The practice has a fun-loving and caring environment, with a highly trained support team focused on providing the best possible care for patients and clients.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
