Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary practice hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides care for cats, dogs, horses, and large animals, and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities alongside urgent care. The Associate Veterinarian will be expected to handle a variety of cases including routine wellness, medical, and urgent presentations. Doctor hours are open to discussion, offering flexibility. The position is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. It is a well-equipped practice offering typical general practice services, orthopedic surgery, and urgent care. The caseload reflects a mix of routine and more advanced procedures supported by the available equipment.
Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs supported by a group of well-trained support staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
